#Komoot fängt wohl schon an zu zerbröseln. Seit etwa 4 Tagen zeigt die Startseite nicht mehr an, wenn meine engsten FreundInnen und sonstige Gefolgte eine neue Tour gemacht haben (Benachrichtigungen bekomme ich eh selten, trotz korrekter Settings). Umgekehrt scheint es ebenso zu sein – ich mache die tollsten Touren, und es gibt keinerlei Reaktionen. Der Support reagiert auch noch nicht. Erlebt ihr auch so komische Sachen?

Die US-Wettbewerbsbehörde FTC hat eine Klage gegen #Meta Platforms eingereicht, in der sie dem Unternehmen vorwirft, durch die Übernahmen von #Instagram und #WhatsApp seine Monopolstellung im Bereich sozialer Netzwerke auszubauen und den Wettbewerb zu behindern. Die FTC strebt an, diese Akquisitionen rückgängig zu machen. Meta argumentiert, dass die Übernahmen genehmigt wurden und der Markt weiterhin wettbewerbsfähig ist. Ein Prozessbeginn ist für den 14. Das mit dem Content Pass in #ElderScrollsOnline seh ich sehr kritisch. Wirkt als würde man in Kombi mit dem großen Event in der Jahresmitte Geld mit #fomo machen wollen. Dabei wurde versprochen, dass alle Inhalte auch nach einer Saison zur Verfügung stehen. Das Event mit dieser magischen Mauer klingt aber gar nicht danach.
Ich hab bissl Angst vor #enshittification hier.

Website idea: a mashup of reddit and iFixit called “F these guys!” that surfaces/showcases 3d printable replacement parts and substitues for enshittified products. Things like replacement knobs for an oven, coat hooks, buttons for old stereos, car dashboard bits. Basically a pushback against planned obsolescence and the enshittification. Sure thingiverse and similar sites exist, but they are catch all. Difference here is a focused UI that encourages both models and replacement tutorials. Most stuff on Amazon is just plastic. The “vitamins” as the RepRap ppl call them are just a tiny portion of most manufactured goods. Website name is up for discussion. #3dPrinting #enshittification #maker #RightToRepair
