Ironically, the red pair is more or less what I thought I'd originally bought. The kit made a pair of gold star earrings, which I've shown you previously, but from the photos on the website I thought they were red. (I still love them.)

Something simple for Sunday. I used transparent emerald green glass to make these beads, then added a thick thread of opaque pale green for contrast. The punched out brass discs beneath I heated, then allowed to develop a natural patina over several months outdoors. The ear wires are pure copper.
