We are delighted to be holding our first Spring Art Fair this year. Taking place on the 12th & 13th April, in the Octagon, Pavilion Gardens, Buxton and open 10am to 4pm. This new event will see many new and established members exhibitng a range of work including fine art, jewellery, textiles, ceramics, photography and glass.

Moving away from the design museum, soon the Vitra Slide Tower by Carsten Höller comes into sight. Unfortunately, at the time of the visit, it was closed.

Another shot on the Frank Gehry building at #Vitra Designmuseum in Weil am Rhein, #Germany, near the border to #Switzerland, #Basel.

From this perspective the dynamic an multilayered structure of the building is more evident. The Nike Swoosh complements the architectural gesture nicely, which I believe is the reason they decided to paint it so prominently.

I was at Chatsworth House yesterday, manning the @peakdistrictartisans #ShowcaseInTheShop with lino cut artist Katherine Rhodes. We took the opportunity to make a start on our #collaboration project (a sneak peek of our test piece here). Over 20 members have paired up again this year to combine skills and explore new ways of working. Watch this space!

This week PDA returned to Chatsworth Stables Gift Shop for another Showcase in the Shop which will run until 2nd Mar 2025
With over 20 members exhibiting this is a wonderful opportunity to browse and buy a range of work including #FineArt #Jewellery #Textiles #Ceramics #photography & #Glass. Staffed by two exhibiting artists each day the Showcase is open 10.30am to 4.30pm daily.

Voici la première toile d’une nouvelle série où le flou n’est pas un voile, mais une invitation. Une image qui résiste, qui demande à être traversée du regard. On croit saisir le paysage, puis il glisse, insaisissable.

Ce n’est pas une scène figée, c’est un espace à habiter, un souvenir à reconstruire, un futur à imaginer.
