Purely by chance I came across a wren building its tiny nest in a tree covered by ivy. It was incredibly busy, constantly gathering moss and other things to make it cozy.
Absolutely wonderful experience, guess I'll need to visit more often in the future.

I was so incredibly lucky today, I know that this little owl lives in the area and saw it a few times already, but it always flew away long before I was able to get a good photo.
But today it wasn't phased by my presence at all and allowed me to get this photo. That was such an awesome experience!

Something different this time. Like many other people I tried to capture comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS). It wasn't a challenge to spot it on the night sky, but it was hard to capture the impressive view on camera. So happy with the results! First one is with 70 mm, the second photo was taken with my 400 mm.

This sparrowhawk caught a young blackbird right in my backyard. Luckily I was able to get my camera while it was ripping apart its prey. The bird didn't really care about me, it was carefully keeping an eye out for the blackbirds that were screaming at it the whole time. That was really one of the most gruesome but at the same time exciting moments in a long time.

This raven was very sceptical of me at first. I tried gaining the trust of it by repeatedly throwing nuts in its direction and stepping back. After a few attempts it let get some photos. This is the one that I like the most - the contrast between the snow and the bird, its pose, I just love it.

This #nutria was very busy when I found it. It kept digging for delicious roots, ripping out huge chunks. Then it waddled into the water and ate its hard earned food. The second photo shows its enormous teeth - I definitely don't want to get bitten by these!
