#Clouds increase over the #Northland Wednesday night ahead of a #clipper system. #Winds remain light as #temperatures remain #warm with lows in the single digits and teens.

Light #snow #showers pass through the region from west to east Thursday, leaving up to 2 inches of new #snowfall. Highs will be in the 20s with winds remaining light.

A #storm system will exit the #Northland Monday night, pushing #snow #showers out of the region. A #breeze from the northwest will #cool #temperatures to the teens and low 20s for lows, feeling like the single digits.

Tuesday will remain mostly #cloudy and #dry as winds slowly decrease in strength. Highs will be #seasonal in the 20s.

The main batch of #snow #showers are starting to move into the #Northland from the west/southwest.

The squall line of #severe #weather continues to move east.
over parts of the #Northland.

A new Severe #Thunderstorm #Warning has been issued, impacting southern Ashland and Iron counties.

Biggest threat remains #winds gusting up to 60 mph, along with #hail up to 1-inch in diameter.

6 P.M. #RADAR UPDATE:

A few #showers and #thunderstorms are trying to form in northwest #Wisconsin.

However, they are going to be more #pop-up like than strong or #severe over the next few hours. Thank you cap!

Still, expect a bit of #rain and gust of #wind wherever they form and move to.

NORTHLAND FORECAST FOR AUGUST 13, 2024:

A #high-pressure system will provide the #Northland with #summer-like #weather conditions.

#Clearing skies Monday night will make the #Northern #Lights visible with lows in the 50s. Some #patchy #fog is possible in spots.

Tuesday will be #sunny with #temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s. A #pop-up #shower is still possible.
